Lindsay Patterson proudly announces her candidacy for Indiana State Representative, District 55. Lindsay was born and raised in Brookville, Indiana. She, her husband, and her two teenage boys live on their family farm in Franklin County. Lindsay has a Bachelor´s Degree in Business from Indiana University. She also has an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Cincinnati. Lindsay Patterson comes from a close working-class family and developed a strong work ethic at a young age. She was gainfully employed by the time she was 12 years old and to this day has always gravitated towards vocations that allowed her to serve others. Lindsay would now like to serve our community and our state by representing Indiana’s 55th House District.
  • Government Mandates (Mask & Vaccines) I am firm in my opposition to any masking or vaccination mandates placed upon the free citizens of Indiana. These personal health choices should be made at a personal level…PERIOD. "We live in a country where lives were and continue to be sacrificed to protect these freedoms, we as Indiana citizens cannot ever forget those sacrifices or take them for granted." I will strongly oppose ANY governmental mandates that are placed upon our personal freedoms.
  • Pro-Life and Pro-Second Amendment I take a very strong stance on protecting life, ALL LIFE. I am also a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. I'm sure to some, this seems like a paradox, but I do not see it that way. I believe gun violence, in part is due to things such as mental disorders and drug abuse. "Creating legalities against guns will not just take away guns for citizens, it will take away their protection and their fundamental right as Americans. "Drugs such as methamphetamines and fentanyl are illegal, but people get them ALL THE TIME, the same will be said of guns, if they were to be deemed "illegal". Besides, we all have the intellect to understand that guns are not the only weapons out there that harm." Recovery and reh
  • Education I have two teenage boys that attend the public High School, here in Brookville, Indiana. Education is very important to me. I know the impact it can have on students; this includes my two boys. I feel that education is one of the most valuable instruments for children to succeed in life. I believe that teachers should be protected and paid well for the very difficult job that they do because, unfortunately, as we all know, things are just not like they used to be in reference to education. Parents should have a say in what their children are being taught, some things are for parents to teach, not schools. I also feel that there should be more investments and programs related to trade schools, not every student has the desire or th
Lindsay Patterson is firm in her opposition to any masking or vaccination mandates placed upon the free citizens of Indiana. These personal health choices should be made at a personal level…PERIOD. Lindsay is pro-life and a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. Lindsay believes in fiscal responsibility because any government should be held to the same standard, she would hold for herself. Lindsay and her family live within their means, and she feels Indiana government should make intelligent choices with Hoosier tax dollars, as well. Lindsay believes in giving a hand up to those who need it but will work to end the injustices of generational welfare.
Lindsay feels that with her strong work ethic, conservative beliefs, and family values; she will not let Indiana’s 55th House District down. Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Indiana

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
