|I am a parent of three children attending each level of HCPSS. I am committed to quality in public education.
I am the first college graduate in my family and earned a PhD from University of Virginia. My personal journey told me that education can change peoples lives. I want to make an educational difference in Howard County Students' lives.
I am a very involved parent in HCPSS elementary, middle, and high schools, BOE operation budget review committee, school advisory committees, scouting, sports teams, and Linstead Day camp taking on many roles and positions to support our community.
I am truly unaffiliated with any political party and put students above politics. My independence helps to ensure the best decisions for all of our students.
I am an immigrant and English is not my native tongue. I understand the barriers many immigrant families face. I value the strength of diversity in our county.
I want to be your voice on the school board.
- My vision: A Successful public school system nurtures students' well-being, creates a sense of belonging and safety, provides every student with necessary resources to succeed.
