Linwood Weeks
Linwood Weeks was a candidate for the District 2 seat on the Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools Board of Education in North Carolina. He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014.
Biography
Weeks is a lifelong resident fo Nash County. He graduated for East Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in health and physical education, and later received a master's degree in school administration. Weeks has severed as a teacher, coach and administrator in the school district. e retired in 2012.[1]

Six seats on the Nash-Rocky Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. All six incumbents sought re-election. In District 2, incumbent Jon Hardy ran against newcomers Linwood Weeks, Jeff Williams and Wendy Wilson. Incumbent Brenda Brown was unopposed in District 4. Tiffany Delano, Wayne Doll and Steve Williams challenged incumbent Bonnie Baker Batts for the District 6 seat. Incumbent Reginald Silver faced Steve Bulluck for the District 8 seat. In District 9, incumbent Robert Bynum ran against challenger LaShawnda Washington. Incumbent Michael David Grover, Ricky Jenkins and Latasha B. Sledge competed for a two-year term in the District 7 seat.
