Lisa Abrams
Lisa Abrams is a judge for the juvenile bench of the Pima County Superior Court in Arizona. She was appointed to the court on January 19, 2021, by Gov. Doug Ducey (R) to replace Gus Aragon.[1]
Biography
Lisa Abrams received her undergraduate education from Smith College in Massachusetts and her J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law.[1] From 2010 to the time of her appointment, Abrams served as a commissioner for the Pima County Superior Court. Prior to joining the bench, Abrams was a partner at Karp & Weiss. Before that, Abrams was legal counsel for the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD). Abrams began her career at the Pima County Public Defender’s Office. Abrams also served as a judicial law clerk/bailiff for Pima County Superior Court Judge Michael Brown.[1]
