Biography
Lisa Atkins was born in Arizona and attended the University of Arizona.[1]
Prior to her appointment to head the state land department, Atkins was vice president for public policy at Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL), a Phoenix-based business dedicated to boosting Arizona's economic health and quality of life for its residents. She also served as president of the Central Arizona Water Conservation District Board (Central Arizona Project) and as executive director of the County Supervisors Association of Arizona.[1]
Atkins has over two decades of experience working as chief of staff and advisor to former U.S. Rep. and current Arizona Corporation Commissioner Bob Stump (R).
