Lisa Beckerman
Lisa Beckerman is a judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court Southern District of New York. She assumed office on February 26, 2021. Her current term ends on February 26, 2035.
Biography
Education
Beckerman earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago, an M.B.A. from the University of Texas, and a J.D. from Boston University School of Lawl.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the bench, Beckerman was a partner in the Financial Restructuring Group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in New York. Her career experience also includes practicing with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.[1]
