Lisa Curtis is a former Democratic member of the New Mexico State Senate, representing District 21 from her appointment in 2012 to 2013.

Her appointment was controversial because she replaced Republican senator Kent Cravens. Governor Susana Martinez did not agree with the decision by the county commissions to nominate a Democratic candidate to replace a Republican legislator.[1]
