Lisa DeWitt
Lisa DeWitt was a 2014 candidate for the 265th District Court in Texas. She was previously a Republican candidate for the 292nd District in 2010.

DeWitt ran for election to the 265th District Court.
Primary: She ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 45.7 percent of the vote. She competed against Jennifer Bennett.

DeWitt was defeated by Larry Mitchell in the general election.[4]
Education
DeWitt received her undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University at Dallas, and her J.D. from Baylor Law School in 1984.[5]
Career
DeWitt began her legal career in private practice, and then became an attorney in Bosque County in 1986. In 1989, she became a public defender in Dallas County.[5]
