Lisa Fabiano is a judge of the Seventeenth Circuit Court (2nd Subcircuit) in Illinois.[1] She was first elected to the bench in 2008.[2] She was retained on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 6, 2020.[3]

Fabiano was retained to the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court with 83.5 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3] 

Evaluations

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Lisa Fabiano as Recommended for retention in a 2014 poll.[4]

Education

Fabiano earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign in 1985, going on to receive her J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago in 1992.[2]

Career

Prior to her judicial election in 2008, Fabiano worked for 11 years as a private practitioner with the Fabiano Law Offices in Rockford, Illinois. She also served as a law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Stanley Roszkowski from 1993 to 1998.[2]
