|In my tenure at the Douglas County Assessor’s Office, I prioritized fiscal responsibility, ensuring a delicate balance between efficient government and top-notch customer service. This commitment accompanied me to the 74th General Assembly, where I contributed my expertise to key House Committees including Transportation, Housing, & Local Government, Business Affairs & Labor, Finance, and Appropriations. Additionally, I am honored to serve as Chair of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee and to contribute to the interim Legislative Oversight Committee Concerning Tax Policy and Task Force.
In the past two years as Representative, I have passed 26 bills.
Beyond my legislative efforts, my co- Improve affordability for Colorado citizens by reducing taxes and government regulation.
- Protect the Taxpayers Bill of Rights by fighting tax credits, fees and State enterprises that erode the TABOR surplus -and ultimately denies reimbursements to those who have overpaid taxes. This is wealth redistribution, and we must push back hard on progressive efforts to divert tax dollars that by law should be returned to citizens.
- Local Control of planning and zoning efforts must be protected so that citizens can define what they want their unique communities to look like. Efforts to subvert local planning and zoning decisions have driven much of the last two legislative sessions, and we must continue to fight back against these bills.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
