Harrison ran for election to the Kaufman County Justice Court.
Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 24.6 percent of the vote. She competed against Mary A. Bardin, Tony Torres, and Michelle Cheney.
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Harrison faced Bardin in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. She was defeated, earning 40% of the votes cast.
