Lisa Hart Morgan is a judge for the Bourbon, Scott and Woodford Counties Family Court of the 14th Judicial Circuit, which presides over Bourbon, Scott, and Woodford counties in Kentucky. She was elected in 2014 for an eight-year term commencing on January 5, 2015, and expiring on January 1, 2023. [1]

Morgan ran for election to the 14th Judicial Circuit.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on May 20, 2014, receiving 37.3 percent of the vote. She competed against incumbent Judge Tamra Gormley and Dorothy Jo Mastin.
General: She defeated incumbent Judge Tamra Gormley in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 57.0 percent of the vote. [2][3] 

Education

Morgan received her undergraduate degree from Murray State University in 2000 and her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2003.[4][5]

Career

Prior to her judicial election in 2014, Morgan practiced law with the firm of Stoll Keenon Ogden, PLLC in Lexington, Kentucky.[4][5]
