What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
1.Improve Education- 2.Building a Stronger Economy- job creation 3.Public Safety
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
1.Protecting our children- I authored and sponsored Assembly Bill 145 (2017) Extends the Statute of Limitations for Child Victims of Sexual Abuse in the 2017 Nevada Legislative session. The Bill was passed unanimously by every Democrat and every Republican in the Nevada Legislature and signed into law by Governor Brian Sandoval. 2.Advocating for our Senior citizens and Veterans- Prior to serving as an Assemblywoman, I served as a Commissioner for the State of Nevada Commission on Aging- for our senior citizens. I advocated and voted in favor of numerous Bills to protect and improve the lives of seniors in Nevada. 3.Improving Education for our kids in K- 12. They are the future of our state and our country. As the mother of two boys that both attended public school, I understand parent's hope, dreams and concerns for their children.
Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?
Former United States Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day- O'Connor
Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?
The United States Constitution
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
Honesty, Fairness, Hard-working
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
A Nevada State Assemblyperson has a duty to represent the people in their government. An Assemblyperson also has a duty to respect and uphold the United States Constitution and Nevada Constitution.
What legacy would you like to leave?
I would like people to remember me as someone who was honest, fair, and sincerely cared about the well-being of others. Someone who was hard-working, truly an advocate "for the people" and improved the lives of the citizens in our great state.

2016
Krasner's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[12]
Taxes and Spending
- Excerpt: "Lisa believes our state and local governments need to follow the example of Nevada households like yours, and live within their means, because when state and local officials fail to do so, you pay the price. Lisa does not support legislation that will raise your taxes, but she will be a strong advocate for more efficient spending and smarter business practices that save taxpayer dollars."
Education
- Excerpt: "Lisa will draw on this extensive background to provide better educational opportunities for all of our children. She is opposed to Common Core and data collection on our kids."
Economy and Job Creation
- Excerpt: "Entrepreneurs create jobs. Small businesses create jobs. State and local governments can either create an environment where these efforts can be successful, or they can become a hindrance to these efforts."
Transparency in Government
- Excerpt: "If we Nevadans are to preserve our rights and liberties and the prosperity afforded us by a free-market economy, we must be vigilant in watching our politicians. We must arm ourselves with information and knowledge , continually strive for more transparency in government, and at all times hold our elected officials accountable."
Public Safety
- Excerpt: "Protection of people and property is a central purpose of government and preserving the rule of law is critical to the functioning and success of a market economy. Lisa believes it is vital that Nevadans benefit from the best police and fire protection possible, to keep our community safe."

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
