Lisa P. Lenihan was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She joined the court on April 2, 2004, and retired on September 4, 2023.[1][2][3]
Education
Judge Lenihan earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1980. She earned a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1983.[1]
Career
Judge Lenihan began her career in 1983 as an associate with the law firm of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote. In 1987, she helped found the firm Burns, White & Hickton, where she became a managing partner ten years later. She then became Corporate Secretary and Assistant Counsel for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2000. She held this position until her judicial appointment in 2004.[1]
