Lisa Michaels was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Oregon.[1]

Michaels ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Oregon's 1st District. Michaels was defeated in seeking the nomination on the Republican ticket. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was March 6, 2012. Michaels was defeated by Delinda Morgan in the Republican primary to unseat Rep Suzanne Bonamici (D).[2]

2012 special election
Michaels ran in the Republican primary for the 2012 special election in Oregon's 1st Congressional District. She lost the primary to Rob Cornilles, however, coming in third place with just over 10 percent of the vote.[3]
