Lisa Overton was a candidate for the North Carolina 3A Judicial District in 2012.[1]

Overton was defeated in the primary election on May 8, 2012 after receiving 22.5% of the vote.[2][1]

Education
Overton received her B.A. degree in Sociology from Butler University in 1996. She then earned her J.D. degree from the Indiana University-Maurer School of Law in 1999.[4]
Career
Overton began her career in 1999, working for the University of Maryland until 2002. She worked as a private practice lawyer from 2004 to 2008. Since 2008, she has served as the Assistant County Attorney for Pitt County.[4]
