Lisa Seminara (Republican Party) was a member of the Connecticut State Senate, representing District 8. She assumed office on January 4, 2023. She left office on January 8, 2025.
Seminara (Republican Party, Independent Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut State Senate to represent District 8. She lost in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Lisa Seminara was born in Harrison, New York. Seminara graduated from Harrison High School in New York in 1986. She earned a bachelor's degree from St. John's University in 1990 and a graduate degree in social work from Columbia University in 1992. Her career experience includes working as a licensed clinical social worker. She founded the Avon Special Education Parent Association. Seminara previously served on the Avon Board of Education.[1][2][3]
