Lisa Swenson

Lisa Swenson is a judge of the Third Judicial District in Olmsted County, Minnesota. She was appointed by Gov. Mark Dayton (D) on August 18, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Debra A. Jacobson. She took office in October 2017.[1]
Biography
Swenson earned a B.A. from Dana College and a J.D. from the University of Nebraska.[1]
At the time of her appointment to the bench, Swenson was the Olmsted Count managing attorney for the Third Judicial District's Public Defender's Office. Her professional experience also includes work as an assistant attorney for Winona County, a senior assistant attorney for Olmsted County, an adjunct professor for Winona State University, and an attorney in private practice.[1]
