Lisa Taylor Munyon
Lisa Taylor Munyon is a judge of the Florida 9th Circuit Court. She assumed office on July 18, 2003. Her current term ends on January 2, 2029.
Munyon won re-election for judge of the Florida 9th Circuit Court outright in the general election on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Munyon was appointed to a newly-created position on the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court by Gov. Jeb Bush on April 4, 2003.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Biography
Education
Munyon received a B.S. degree in Finance in 1982 and a J.D. in 1985, both from the University of Florida.[7]
Career
Munyon spent 10 years as an assistant state attorney of the 9th Judicial Circuit. Then, in 1996, she became a private practice lawyer. She held that position until 2003 when she joined the circuit court.[1][2]

General election
The general election was canceled. Lisa Taylor Munyon (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.
2016
Florida's 20 circuit courts all had seats up for election in 2016. Of the 151 seats up for election, 125 saw only one candidate file for the election. The unopposed races were canceled and the sole candidates were automatically elected. Of the 26 opposed races, only 10 saw more than two candidates file. [8]
