Lisa S. Walsh
Lisa S. Walsh is a judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court. She assumed office in 2011. Her current term ends on January 7, 2031.
Walsh won re-election for judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court outright in the general election on November 5, 2024, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Walsh was appointed by Governor Rick Scott on April 11, 2011.[1][2][3]
Biography
Education
Walsh received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her J.D. from the University of Miami.[2]
Career
Prior to her appointment to the Circuit Court, Walsh served on the Miami-Dade County Court from 2008 to 2011. Before that, she practiced law privately from 2004 to 2008. She began her legal career in 1992 as an attorney with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender.[2]
