Litkovitz takes office as federal magistrate in Ohio

Cincinnati, Ohio: Karen L. Litkovitz was sworn in to her new post as federal magistrate judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio on December 20, 2010. She was appointed to this position on October 14, 2010. “I will always try my best to foster justice for all people and apply the law fairly and impartially. My hope is that the litigants who appear before me will feel they have been fully heard and treated fairly and with respect,” she said. Prior to her judicial appointment, Litkovitz worked as a law clerk and an attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Cincinnati.
