Live Oak Unified School District At-Large Election of Trustees, Measure U (November 2008)
A Live Oak Unified School District At-Large Election of Trustees, Measure U ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the Live Oak Unified School District in Sutter County, California, where it was approved.
At the time of the vote on Measure U, trustees to the school board of the Live Oak Unified School District were elected from individual trustee districts carved out within the school district. The approval of Measure U changed that method of electing trustees so that trustees are instead elected "at-large" to the school board. The at-large system means that every eligible voter who lives in the school district can vote on all trustee positions.
