A Livingston County Schools Sales Tax Increase proposition was approved on the April 9, 2013 election ballot in Livingston County, which is in Illinois.
This measure authorized the Livingston County to increase its School Facility Sales Tax by 1% from 6.25% to 7.25%. The revenue from this tax would only be used for construction, renovation and land acquisition for school buildings and facilities.[1]
