I am a proud Florida native and product of our public schools, where I learned to speak Spanish fluently. I have spent the past 20 years applying no-nonsense solutions to real problems people face. My career has taken me around the globe but I have always called Florida home. Most recently, I was a Partner at Brunswick Group where I advised organizations on their sustainability strategies and developed campaigns to build deeper engagement and trust. Whether I was helping startups and Fortune 500 companies grow or providing strategic counsel to leaders in government, business and nonprofits, I guided their worldview to understand that rights come with responsibilities. I believe that America should not abandon its allies and that businesses should be able to create wealth, but not at the expense of hardworking people. And, I believe that talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words.
  • I know how to make government work. I learned how to get things done by working for public servants and diplomats, including former Senator Tom Daschle and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. I will build partnerships and coalitions to bring resources back to the people of Pinellas county.
  • I believe in women. I trust that women are capable of making the right decisions for their own bodies, careers, and families. I will fight to keep medical decisions between you and your doctor — not the government.
  • I have a vision for a prosperous and resilient future of Florida. As a leader in sustainable business who has experience leading public-private initiatives to address climate change, I plan to find productive solutions to real problems people face due to extreme weather.
1. Addressing affordable housing will be one of my top priorities. Housing costs in Pinellas County have gotten out of control and too many people don’t have access to affordable housing. Especially working families.

2. I am a champion of women and will be a staunch advocate for legislation that protects women's reproductive rights.
3. I am passionate about protecting Florida’s natural environment and you can often find me kayaking around Caladesi Island or birding in Fort De Soto Park.

4. I believe that your right to Social Security and Medicare is sacred. No senior in America should have to choose between their medication and their mortgage.
I will bring collaborative leadership to Congress for the people of Pinellas County. I respect differences and opposing ideas; I look for a win-win in all things. These are the principles with which I plan to represent our district.
I have demonstrated an ability to envision change, mobilize resources, and implement solutions to achieve results on the local, national, and global stage. I have always worked in support of greater ideals – be that promoting democracy, addressing inequality or advancing sustainability – and I have developed a talent for navigating extremely complicated situations, often with divisive and polarizing interests at play.
