After moving to Chandler in the late-90s, Arizona is the place I call home. It's an amazing state but the things that make it successful need to stay in place. Ironically, many fleeing high-tax, high-regulation states are moving to low-tax, low-regulation states like Arizona, but they're bringing their liberal policies and voting habits with them. We need to make sure we don't let this leftward push ruin everything that's working in Arizona. I'll work to protect school choice, teacher pay increases, and strong K-12 support. I'll advocate for secure borders and the enforcement of our laws. I'll work for a strong economy and safe neighborhoods. And I'll oppose efforts to raise taxes or give government greater control over our lives and daily decisions. As a servant leader for the last several decades, I am committed to you and I will work tirelessly to get the job done! I'm a wife and mother, blessed with three great kids. I've worked in real estate for the last 15 years and have served in a variety of community and industry positions. I ask for your vote so I can get to work with Representative Jeff Weninger and do all I can for Arizona and our district!
  • Quality Education - Teacher Pay Increases - Strong K-12 Support - Parental School Choice
  • Keep Taxes Low - Stimulate the Economy to Generate Tax Revenue
  • Bring Jobs to Arizona by Attracting New Business

There are many people I look up to, but I would have to say that President Abraham Lincoln is at the top of the list. Up until recent events, President Lincoln led this country through its toughest times. He was born into poverty, he self-educated himself, and despite all odds against him he eventually became one of the most memorable Presidents of the United States. His famous speech, the Gettysburg Address, became such a historic event that often it is part of today's 5th grade curriculum to be memorized! The themes of that speech hold true value to me - equal rights, liberty, nationalism, republicanism and democracy. Then, the Emancipation Proclamation with the order for the army to protect escaped slaves was a historical game changer. President Lincoln was taken from us just days after The Civil War... President Lincoln (for security and peace of mind) had special housing a few miles away from the White House during the Civil War that I was blessed with the opportunity to visit The Lincoln Cottage during one of my last visits to Washington, DC. His final visit to the Lincoln Cottage was reported to be the day before his assassination on April 14, 1865.
As a toddler (approximately 3 years old), after one of the more significant snowstorms, I was featured in the local newspaper shoveling the walkway for pedestrians. My desire to be a "helper" starting very young. A primary reason I am running for State Representative is to be that "helper" as a great policy maker.

More historic than that was probably the NYC blackout on July 13, 1977. Looking across the Hudson River and no longer seeing that fabulous Manhattan skyline was surreal. Gloom was in the air. There was an economic decline and unhealthy crime rates coupled with the Son of Sam murders. Even as a child, we are all aware of "Stranger Danger" as it related to the tragic Son of Sam situations.
I began my "career" in the nutraceuticals industry and I worked there for over a decade while attending a masters program and then a doctorate program nights and weekends. The company I worked for grew into a major manufacturer and it was very rewarding to see a family business grow into a multi-million dollar manufacturer.

My first "jobs" were numerous newspaper routes, life gaurding assignments, babysitting gigs, pizza delivery and retail sales which all lasted for multiple years! Not only and entrepreneur but a hard worker as well!

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Arizona

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Harris expelled from Arizona House of Representatives (2023)

See also: Noteworthy professional misconduct in American politics (2023-2024)

Members of the Arizona House of Representatives expelled Harris from the state House on April 12, 2023, by a vote of 46 to 13. Of the 46 voting in favor of expulsion, 29 were Democrats and 17 were Republicans. All 13 no votes were from Republicans, and one Democrat did not vote.[1]

The expulsion followed the House Ethics Committee's April 11 determination that Harris had violated "legislative rules by inviting a witness to present false testimony."[1] Harris invited the witness, insurance agent Jacqueline Breger, to testify during a February 2023 hearing on election oversight. Breger claimed Gov. Katie Hobbs (D) and other public officials accepted bribes from the Sinaloa drug cartel, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints controlled state agencies.[1] The committee's report alleged that Harris knew Breger would make these claims.[3]

According to KPNX-TV, Harris told a reporter that the ethics report was a lie and that "God knows the truth. ...This was an example of how you need to toe the line. If you don’t toe the line, this is what happens."[3]
