Liz Murrill
Liz Murrill (Republican Party) is the Attorney General of Louisiana. She assumed office on January 8, 2024. Her current term ends on January 10, 2028.

Biography
Liz Murrill was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Murrill earned a high school diploma from Lafayette High School.[1] She earned a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in 1985, a law degree from Louisiana State University in 1991, and a graduate degree from Pepperdine University in 2010. Murrill's career experience includes working as the solicitor general and director of the Administrative Division of the Louisiana Department of Justice, a mediator with Perry Dampf Dispute Solutions, and the managing director of Strategic Governmental Solutions, LLC.[2] She has served on the board of directors of Family Services of Baton Rouge and founded the Baton Rouge Bar Association Disaster Recovery Legal Service Project.[1][2]
