2012 election

Nohren ran for election in 2012 to replace retiring Judge Michael P. Kiley. She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012. In April, she withdrew from the race, stating, "I am not comfortable with pursuing this position in light of my father’s untimely death and the fact that he is not here to carry on with the firm and its long-standing tradition of providing caring and excellent service to the community."[1][2]
