Local Community School District Levy Renewals, 7 (May 2010)

Seven Local Community School District Levy Renewal measures were on the May 4 ballot in seven school district areas in Berrien County.

All seven of these measures were approved

These measures sought to renew the property tax on non residential and secondary homes in the different districts. the districts that asked for renewals were Buchanan, Coloma, Eau Claire, Galien, Niles, Riverside and St. Joseph school districts. The money generated from these levys will go towards operational costs of the districts.[1]
