Lon Arend

Lon Arend is a judge for the Florida 12th Circuit Court. He was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott (R) on August 17, 2016, to replace Scott M. Brownell after his resignation took effect on December 28, 2016.[1]
Biography
Arend earned his bachelor's degree from Florida State University. He later received his J.D. from the University of Florida. Arend joined the state attorney's office in the 12th Judicial Circuit in 1995 served as chief assistant state attorney until his appointment to the bench.[1]
