Lon Roberts
Lon E. Roberts is a former member of the Wisconsin Public Service Commission. He was appointed to a six-year term by Governor Scott Walker (R), effective March 6, 2017. The Wisconsin State Senate confirmed his appointment in April 2017.[1][2] Roberts resigned in December 2018.[3]
Biography
Roberts worked for 43 years as an attorney with the law firm of Ruder Ware in Wausau, Wisconsin. He later served as chair of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board and as a member of the Governor’s Judicial Selection Advisory Committee. In February 2016, Governor Scott Walker (R) appointed Roberts to serve as the secretary of the Department of Financial Institutions (DFI). He served at the DFI until his appointment to the Wisconsin Public Service Commission in March 2017.[2]
