I am a worried mother whose kids attend CCSD. I have been speaking up on behalf of my kids and, more recently, other parents who have similar worries to mine. Over the past few years, I have attended a number of school board meetings where I have witnessed personally the problems afflicting our school and the inadequacies of the board members in finding solutions. We need a common sense approach to education. At the end of the day, we parents are the ones that love our kids the most. It's time for us to be heard.
  • My only interest is to see every child succeed.
  • If we can fix our education, we can fix our country.
  • Parents have the Constitutional right to direct the education of their children.
To exercise best judgement in adopting policies that will equip children with an education that will prepare them to succeed. To set a vision of unity and success. To serve as a liaison between the district and community. To oversee the budget, monitor expenditures, and provide transparency.
That I rose in defense of my children. That for mothers like me, there is nothing we wouldn't do for our children.
