Lorene Bethell is a former Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 113 from 2012-2013. Her husband Bob Bethell passed away "in a car accident May 20 while returning home at the end of the last working day of the session." She was elected to finish his term.[1] (dead link)
