Biography

Lori Cobos was born in Alpine, Texas. Cobos earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Sul Ross State University in 1998, an M.P.A. from Sul Ross State University in 2000, and a J.D. from Texas Tech University in 2006. Her career experience includes working as chief executive and public counsel of the Texas Office of Public Utility Counsel, as the director of government and regulatory affairs of Talen Energy, and owning the Cobos Law Firm. Cobos served on the board of directors of the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation and Sul Ross State University.[1][2]
