Lori Urso (Democratic Party) is a member of the Rhode Island State Senate, representing District 8. Urso assumed office on January 7, 2025. Urso's current term ends on January 5, 2027.

Biography
Lori Urso earned a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and a master's degree from the University of Rhode Island. Her career experience includes working in river and watershed conservation and serving as the president and chief executive officer of the Old Slater Mill Association. She served on the Westerly Town Council from 2000 to 2002.[1]
