Biography
Lori Wing-Heier’s career experience includes working as Director of Risk Management at an Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) corporation. She also worked as senior vice-president at a national brokerage and president of the Alaska Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers, Inc.[1] Wing-Heier was appointed state insurance director effective February 25, 2014. As director, she oversees the Division of Insurance, which is housed within the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development.[2]
