Lorie Burch (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Texas' 3rd Congressional District. She did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on March 3, 2020.

Burch was a candidate for Texas' 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House in 2018. She lost the general election on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary runoff on May 22, 2018.

Biography

Lorie Burch lives in Plano, Texas. She graduated from Plano Senior High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from Trinity University in San Antonio and a J.D. from George Washington University School of Law. Burch’s career experience includes starting her own law practice. She served as the Young Professionals of Plano (YPP) Professional Development Chair and as the co-chair of the Dallas Fort-Worth Human Rights Campaign. Lorie Burch also served as the National President for the American Business Women's Association.[1]
