An election to recall Los Angeles County Superior Court Judges John Fleming, Dailey Stafford, and Walter Guerin was scheduled for November 8, 1932, in Los Angeles County, California. Voters recalled Fleming, Stafford, and Guerin.[1]

Recall vote

Fleming was recalled by a vote of 365,271 to 302,355, Stafford was recalled by a vote of 371,018 to 297,251, and Guerin was recalled by a vote of 308,055 to 257,993. William Palmer, Charles Bogue, and William Baird were elected to replace Fleming, Stafford, and Guerin.[2]

Recall supporters

The recall effort began after the Los Angeles Bar Association began proceedings against Fleming, Stafford, and Guerin for ethical breaches.[1]
