Louis W. Blessing, Jr. (b. 1948) is a former Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 29 from 2005 to 2013. Blessing served as Speaker Pro Tempore in the 2011-2012 legislative session. He previously represented District 29 from 1983-1996. Blessing was also a Senator in the Ohio State Senate from 1996-2004. His other political experience includes president, trustee, and clerk association for Hamiltion County Colerain Township Board.

Blessing is an attorney.

Blessing earned a BBA in economics from the University of Cincinnati and J.D. from Northern Kentucky University. He and his wife, Linda, have two children;[1] their son, Louis W. Blessing, III, succeeded Blessing in the House in 2013.
