Louis H. Schiff

Louis H. Schiff is a county judge in the North Satellite Divisions of the Broward County Court of Florida. He was elected in 1996, effective in 1997. His current term expired on January 8, 2019.[1][2]
Education
Schiff received his B.S. degree (Journalism) from the University of Florida in 1977 and his J.D. degree from the Hamline University School of Law in 1980.[3]
Career
Schiff began his career in 1981 as a private practice attorney. He worked in that capacity until he was elected to the bench in 1996. He was also a Broward County Traffic Magistrate from 1990 to 1996. Since 2001, he has taught as an adjunct professor at Broward Community College.[3]
2012 election
Schiff was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the Nov. 6, 2012 general election.[4][5]
