I am in awe of our great Democratic Republic known as "America". I am an Entrepreneur practicing Tax, Estate and Retirement Planning for over 4 decades. I always believe in respecting people, intently listening to their personal viewpoints, and creating a Win-Win solution for everybody whenever possible. I am not of a military background, but my entire "Family Tree" has stepped up and sacrificed during our nation's past struggles and World Wars so that we all can always enjoy Freedom and Liberty in the USA.
My Grandfather fought in World War I in the trenches in France as the Allies battled Tyranny. Severely Mustard Gassed he still refused to leave his troops while suffering tremendously from the effects of the poison gas bombs. A week later he was finally ordered to seek medical attention after winning the battle for Freedom. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross both from the United States as well as France for his bravery and service to his country.
My Father fought bravely during World War II across Europe and helped to conquer Nazi, Germany to end the European theatre of WWII.
My Dear Mother was rounded up by Nazi soldiers at the start of WWII and was forced into a Slave Labor Camp for 3 1/2 years only to survive to help Bless the World after WW II ended.

I am a Patriot and the survivor of (2) lightning strikes. God Willing, I have been spared to "Help Do Good" in the World !

"Lightnin' Lou" says.......May God Bless America !
  • We must secure our Sovereign Borders to our country so as to fully "vet" and identify who is entering our country and truly seeks a better life in our great land of endless opportunities. If we do not, then our great country will cease to exist as we know and love it. Our country is a "Melting Pot" of various cultures. We must overhaul and update our dysfunctional immigration system so as to improve the process of "Legal Immigration." By doing so, we can keep our way of life intact and fully functional so as to give everybody the endless opportunities available in our great Democratic Republic.......aka...."The American Dream" ! Work Hard and Achieve your Dream !
  • I am a firm believer in the "Rule of Law", the very legal fabric that holds our country together and keeps all citizens safe from harm and hostilities. Our Public Safety officials must be supported, revered and respected as they sacrifice and literally "risk their lives" daily to keep us all safe. "Lady Liberty" must remain impartial, Courts, Judges, and Juries must render fair and just verdicts in our Judicial Courts. We must preserve and adhere to a fair and totally impartial Judicial System that does not "play favorites" in rendering verdicts. Our Rule of Law must be impartially preserved. "You Do The Crime, You Do The Time"
  • We must have completely open and transparent Voting Integrity in our Local, State, and Federal elections. The overall entire Voter Registration should all be updated and verified that each individual voter is "Vetted" and "Verified" and are U.S. Citizens. It is absolutely Bilious to think that deceased people are still on the Voter Rolls in 2024. It is past time to update all "Voter Registrations". We must have Uniform election laws so as to ban "Ballet Harvesting". One vote, One verified Voter ! We The People should be honored to go and "Cast your Vote" ! The Right To Vote has been fought, sacrificed, and died for by our past, present, and future American Hero's.
I personally am ready to "Make A Difference" in our Georgia State Senate through Fairness, Truthfulness, and above all reintroduce some "Common Sense" in our State legislatures. The Government should always remember that it does not have power over the people as, "We The People" are in charge. Vote Ligon for LIBERTY !
Protect the Public, Rebuild our Public Safety Departments and Police Departments, Abolish Georgia Private Attorney Plenary Powers, Term Limits for all State and Federal Legislative offices, Fair Tax System to Protect Family and Small Businesses, Affordable Housing ,Education with interlinked High School and Trade School Diplomas, Equal Opportunity, Economy, Abortion Rights
I look up to and Thank both my Mother and Father for instilling in me, good character, integrity, honesty, morals, kindness, caring, and love. Your word is your bond. Always Say what you do and Always Do what you say !
Actually there are (2) books that I would recommend. The First Book is: "The Brain That Changes Itself" by Dr. Norman Doidge. A study in Neuroplasticity......." You truly are what you think". The Second Book is an amazing work by Dr, Viktor E. Frankl, ....."Man's Search For Meaning".....a study of "Logotherapy".
I am of strong will, grit, integrity, honor, courage to do the right thing always !
"We The People" don't work for the Government......the Government is supposed to work and represent....."We The People" ! The most important task at hand is to intently listen to what the people have to say and represent them in the Georgia Senate according to the will of the people.
I am an intent listener. I try to always gather all the facts before making any determination or decisions. I am not afraid to always state the Truth and Always Do the right thing for all parties involved. I will truly represent the will of the people that I would be representing as their Senator.
Honesty, Integrity, Morals, Ethics,......always be completely transparent to everybody including fellow legislators and the public at hand. Appreciate everybody involved.
I would like to bring complete transparency to all government activities. I would like to introduce Term Limits to all State and Federal Legislature positions both house and Senate.
I remember being with my Dad in a department store. We rushed over to the television section and with a crowd of people watched Neal Armstrong land the Lunar Lander on the moon July 20th, 1969. He slowly and deliberately stepped down the ladder and firmly stepped onto the lunar surface. I remember those words he then said, "One small step for Man, One giant leap for Mankind". I was 9 years old at that time.
My Dear "Pop" helped me to open my first bank savings account at age 7 (First Grade). I started to do small jobs saving some money and having fun spending the rest. At age 12 (Sixth Grade) I was able to take out a $1K personal loan. I purchased lawn care equipment and started a lawn care business as an Entrepreneur. I had the bank loan paid off within 3 months. I have always been a business owner and Entrepreneur. I have been a Tax, Retirement, and Estate planning consultant for over four decades.
Genius Book of World Records
The Eagles....."Hotel California", Kansas....."Carry On Wayward Son", Chuck Berry......"Johnny Be Good"
I have had many health struggles in the last 25 years particularly. I have survived (5) very close life threatening events with almost 2 million in medical bills. I am the survivor of two lightning strikes. I wouldn't quite recommend standing next to 1 million volts/100k amps twice. The first lightning strike in 2007 severely damaged my nervous system. I had to have outpatient medical treatments for 5 days every 8 weeks to try to maintain functioning. After 8 years of grueling treatments just to stay alive, in 2015 I was struck by a 2nd gigantic lightning bolt that shocked me violently and severely. However, the second strike Fixed Me !!! I walked away from all my medical treatments. I don't know why I am still on this Earth but I am here to try to help the World and make a difference. Every day is A Good Day !
The governor and the state legislature should have open, fair, respectful, and honest communications and co-operation in order to run the state government for the will and benefit of the people of the state of Georgia.
Most importantly, we must all adhere to Public Safety laws and follow the Rule of Law in order to keep the general public safe and free from harm. We must find solutions for Affordable Housing for working citizens. We must upgrade our public school systems and integrate Trade School Certificates with High School Diploma requirements in order to graduate more able bodied, skilled High School graduates.
We must always strive to balance our state government and legislature budget. Choose our state expenditures frugally and wisely and keep the state out of debt with a state budget balanced on a monthly basis.
I don't believe that it is crucial to have any prior political experience. I feel that if you have work ethics, morals, integrity, honesty, and caring from running your own business then that may be an advantage to running for public office. Bringing business efficiency to the state legislature is an advantage !
Sure, you must be able to thoroughly talk out your position on a topic of concern with other legislators to get your viewpoint clearly defined. Logic should always prevail  !
I always admired Zell Miller of Young Harris, Georgia. He was a Professor of Economics at Young Harris College, Professor Miller was a true man of his word with honesty. and integrity. He stood in for Paul Coverdell in Washington, D.C. after his tragic airplane crash. Though not legislators so to speak, I want to model my beliefs and actions after my beloved late parents who instilled integrity, morals, good character, fairness, and your word is your bond. "Say what you do and Do what you say" !
It was a beautiful Spring day in Duluth. A perfect day to go take a walk down main street and enjoy the sunshine. I decided to stop by my favorite coffee shop. To my surprise, a person was sitting on an outside bench near the coffee shop entrance. They had a box of cute puppies. People were playing with them, picking them up...but...."No Takers"....I wonder why ?
A couple of days later, I decided to get an early start to my day. I got up early, got dressed, and headed down to the coffee shop for breakfast. I was amazed to see such a crowd of people so early in the morning all crowded around that box of puppies. They were all laughing, interacting and picking up the puppies as they played. Everybody now with great excitement wanted to legally take one home to share with their loved ones, friends, and family.
I asked the puppy box owner if their puppies were still....."Democrat Puppies" ? They quickly replied: "Oh, No, No, No,"...... "Now all these cute puppies are......"Republican Puppies"........because they have all, "Opened Their Eyes" ! USA! USA!! USA!!!
The State House and Senate should only grant the use of Emergency Powers in extreme emergency situations by majority vote of the House and the Senate. The Governor and/or the Federal Government shall first deem a state or an area of a state to be declared a Disaster Zone.
Deem Georgia Code 15-19-5 as "Procedurally Defective" thus banning State private attorneys Plenary Powers / Rule of Law Crime Bill / Public Safety Bill / Voter Registration Integrity Bill / Illegal Alien ICE Retainer Bill / State and Federal Legislature House and Senate Term Limits Bill
The HWG Organizational Sub-Committee, HWG Board of Directors, The Appalachian Trail Hike Advisory Council, The Chastain Park MG Directors Committee, Rainbow Village Charity Fund Counsel

State and Federal tax revenues are the "People's Money". Each and every penny of taxpayer funds should be spent in a fiscally wise and responsible way. Full and complete transparency is the key to keeping everyone accountable.
