Louise G. Scrivener was a judge on the Sixth Circuit Court for Montgomery County in Maryland. She served as a judge on the court from December 26, 1995 until her retirement on April 1, 2013.[1]

Education

Scrivener received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1972 and her J.D. from the Catholic University School of Law in 1975.[1]

Career

Before she joined the Sixth Circuit Court, Scrivener served as an associate judge for the District Court of Maryland, 6th District serving Montgomery County from September 2, 1992 to December 25, 1995.[1]

2012 election

Scrivener ran unopposed in the November 2012 election and was re-elected to the Sixth Circuit Court.[2] She was successful in her bid, receiving 31% of the vote; the three candidates with the highest vote percentages were elected in the race.[3][4]
