Louise Jacobs

Louise Jacobs is an associate judge of District 5C of Iowa. She was appointed to this position in 2001.[1] Her current term expires in 2018.
Education
Jacobs holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Minnesota and a law degree from Drake University.[1]
Career
Jacobs has worked as an assistant Des Moines city attorney and a private practice lawyer. In 1997, she was appointed a magistrate of Polk County. She worked in this capacity until her promotion to District Associate Judge in 2001.[1]
2012 election
Jacobs was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 78.26% of the vote.[2][3]
