Louisiana's 7th Congressional District

The 7th Congressional District of Louisiana was a congressional district located in the southwestern part of the state. It contained the cities of Crowley, Eunice, Jennings, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Opelousas, Sulphur and Ville Platte. During the 2010 redistricting process, Louisiana had one seat in the U.S. House taken away due to population changes across the country. The 7th Congressional District ceased to exist following the 2012 elections.

The final representative of the 7th Congressional District was Charles Boustany Jr. (R).

On November 2, 2010, Charles Boustany Jr. (R) was re-elected to the United States House of Representatives after running unopposed in Louisiana's 7th District.
