The Louisiana Administrative Decisions in Workers' Compensation Amendment, also known as Amendment 5, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 6, 1990, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that workers' compensation cases can be heard by administrative hearing officers instead of the district court.[1]
