The Louisiana Allocate Portion of Lignite Tax to Parish Amendment, also known as Amendment 15, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 6, 1990, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that the portion of lignite taxes that are received by the parish where the lignite is mined should be increased. The portion of these taxes received by the state would be lowered.[1][2]
