The Louisiana Asphalt Donation Amendment, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 23, 1999, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that parish and local governments could receive donations of asphalt reclaimed from state highways.[1][2]
