The Louisiana Avoyelles Parish Port Commission Amendment, also known as Amendment 33, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 3, 1970, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed that members of the port commission of Avoyelles Parish be appointed by the legislative representatives from that Parish and approved by the Parish police jury.[1]
