Louisiana Civil Service Board Compensation Amendment (1970)

The Louisiana Civil Service Board Compensation Amendment, also known as Amendment 32, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 3, 1970, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed that in communities with a population between 13,000 and 250,000, the secretary of the fire and police civil service boards be compensated no more than $50.00 a month.[1]
