The Louisiana Civil Service Commission for State Police, Amendment 6 (October 1990), also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 6, 1990, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed to remove state police from the state civil service system and create a separate civil service system solely for state police.[1]
