The Louisiana Debt Limit Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 16, 1993, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed a plan to reduce state debt and limit state spending on debt service payments.[1][2]
